We’re horse people. We understand what your animals mean to you.
Meet Julia
Julia grew up riding and working with horses in Eastern North Carolina, and that early love of horses turned into a career built on formal education and hands-on experience. She holds an Associate's degree in Equine Technology from Martin Community College, a Bachelor of Science in Animal Science from North Carolina State University, and a Master's in Education from Post University — and continues taking clinics and courses to stay current.
She's worked alongside trainers across disciplines, including cutting and Thoroughbred racing, and has competed herself in barrel racing, combined training and horse trials, hunter under saddle, and ranch riding. That range matters: it means Julia has seen firsthand how different disciplines put different demands on a horse's body, and she brings that perspective to every session.
Julia lives with her husband Matt, three dogs, and two horses. Caring for her own animals is what led her to MagnaWave certification in the first place — and what drives her to extend that same standard of care to every client's horse or dog through Vermeere Pawsitive Equine.
